Convenient location; nearby many restaurants, just a few minutes walk away from JR/Nohi Bus station, coin laundry, convenience stores, Old Town and Markets. Traditional experience, after walking around all day a soak in the onsen was perfect!! Free wifi was easy to connect to and had good speed. Our room was tidied daily and amenities were restocked. Host waited at the door to see us off after we checked out on the last day

We loved the location. It was close to many attractions, restaurants and the train station. The owner and staff were very kind and accommodating especially when we saw the daunting two flights of stairs. We are in our late 70's and after a long day of traveling they offered to bring our bags up and down. The breakfasts were amazing. Traditional Japanese!

Maureen

The futons and covers were thick and extremely comfortable. We were in a traditional room so we appreciated the curtains to block the lights coming from the shōjis. The staff was very nice and helpful, they agreed to keep our luggages for the day when we arrived too early for the check-in and when we left after the check-out. Thank you so much!

Ariane

Traditional and good experience overall. The onsen experience is interesting, but they are small (according to the hotel size). Rooms are ok, we stayed for 3 nights and it was enjoyable. Recommend minshuku if you are looking for a Japanese experience in a Japanese traditional area.

Santiago

A lovely homely place with a sweet owner. You can choose between a little more modern lodging with the western rooms with their own bathroom or have the traditional tatami room with a futon. The toilet and bath are up to date. I loved sinking into the onsen.
